1. Knows, recognizes and uses specialty terminology.
2. Knows and recognizes the history of the materials used to produce dental prostheses, methods or producing, their physical and chemical properties based on the study of material strength.
3. Knows and recognizes the mutual suitability of the materials used, the classification of materials and is able to analyse the possible mistakes made on handling different materials.
4. Knows and recognizes the colours of light and object, wavelengths of specter colours, and can connect them with tooth shade guides and with natural tooth colours.
