Module 'Research and development methodology'Assistant Pharmacist 2012/2013
Objective To introduce to the students the principles of evidence-based research and to teach them to use a variety of evidence-based information sources, to prepare a proper herbarium and graduation thesis and a course paper. Learning outcomes Upon completion of the module, the student: 1. Is able to use professional evidence-based sources for writing a course paper; 2. Is able to use Estonian and/or English language for writing development and research papers; 3. Is able to prepare a herbarium; 4. Is familiar with different research methods and is able to use them in carrying out applied research; 5. Values ethics and is ready to apply the knowledge gained in professional work; 6. Is able to use e-learning opportunities in the learning environment and has practical skills in information searching and processing (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, computer-graphics, and file operations). | ||
