To ensure the integration and readiness of professional knowledge and skills for beginning employment.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the module, the student:
1. Knows drugs, their composition and the technology of extemporaneous preparation of drugs;
2. Knows the effects, co- and side effects of medicines and medicinal plants;
3. Knows the use of drugs and medicinal plants for disease prevention and treatment;
4. Knows the methods used in analytical chemistry and is able to determine the various compounds;
5. Knows pharmacy work and deals in the pharmacy with the receipt, preparation and dispensing of drugs and counseling of customers regarding drugs.
