| To get an overview about the global processes, about their influence on public health and about the functions of international health organizations. |

| Study outcome |

1. Has general knowledge of global processes and their causal factors, and understands the influence of global processes on one´s health.
2. Has an overview about global communicable diseases and non-infectious chronic diseases, their spreading causes and main prevention measures.
3. Explains the areas of activities of the key international health organizations, and finds and uses the overviews of statistics of international health organizations. |
