| Aim |
| To provide knowledge of a pharmacist’s role in primary level health care and in measuring the primary health markers theoretically as well as practically in terms of interpreting the results. |

| Study outcome |
1. Knows the main principles of primary health counselling and patient education.
2. Knows and complies with the rules of a- and antiseptics.
3. Knows how to measure blood sugar, cholesterol, level of haemoglobin and blood pressure, and document the results.
4. Knows how to give primary recommendations in case os results differing from the norm. |
