Objective
To provide a basic knowledge of the chemical structure of the main medicinal substances, their physical and chemical properties and pharmaceutical analysis. |

Learning outcomes
The student who has completed the course:
1. Knows the basic concepts of pharmaceutical chemistry;
2. Is able to explain the basic structure of drug groups and the chemical structure and properties of the medicinal substances belonging therein;
3. Is familiar with the principles of identification and quantitative determination of major therapeutic agents;
4. Knows the requirements for the chemical purity of therapeutic agents;
5. Knows the storage requirements of therapeutic agents. |
