| Develop advanced knowledge of mental illnesses of elderly, specifics of psychopathology, research methods, need for geriatric assessment, treatment and skills for teaching caregivers. |

1. Knows the specifics of psychopathology and negative risk factors influencing psyche of elderly patients.
2. Knows the main research methods for evaluating mental illnesses of elderly and is able to use evaluators for assessing patient’s geriatric state.
3. Is able to teach and advise caregivers for taking care of elderly with mental illnesses.
4. Is able to apply principles of patient study by collaborating with patients, their families and support networks in social system. |
