1. To acquire knowledge about the general and specific features of materials.
2. To acquire detailed knowledge about materials of ophthalmic spectacle lenses and of contact lenses and of spectacle frames, about their qualities and the possibilities for enhancing them. |

1. Knows the metal and plastic materials used in spectacle frame industry, knows their physical and chemical qualities.
2. Knows the physical, chemical and optical qualities of different materials of spectacle lenses and of contact lenses, and can recommend them according to the client´s needs.
3. Has up-to-date knowledge about the technologies used for manufacturing spectacle frames and lenses in optics industry. |
