Objective
1. To provide the students with a consistent nature-scientific
world picture, proceeding from the profession’s point of
view;
2. to understand human life functions, its microbiology and
processes of heredity and changeability. |

Learning outcomes
Having passed the subject, the student:
1. has basic knowledge about the structure and qualities of a
substance;
2. understands the connections of organism’s micro and macro
structure;
3. acquires an overview about the essence of heredity and
changeability, and the most widely spread chromosome and
genetic diseases that influence human operational capacity;
4. has knowledge about the most widely spread microorganisms and the diseases caused by them that influence the functions of human organism. |
