| To acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide general nursing care for patients with surgical and ear-nose-throat (ENT) diseases. |

| Study outcome |

1. Knows the classification of surgical and ENT diseases; etiology,
pathogenesis, clinical picture, investigation methods, treatment and prevention principles of the most common surgical and ENT diseases.
2. Determines the needs for nursing care and the problems in case of surgical and ENT diseases considering evidence-based activities.
3. Applies team work and health education principles to a patient with an internal disease and to his/her family in the form of role plays. |
