| To understand the body`s vital functions as the whole considering the principles of biochemistry, microbiology and genetics. |

1.Gives an overview of the connections between organi
sm ́s micro and macrostructure, evaluating the mutual effect of human organism and microorganisms.
2.Describes the main terms of biochemistry and basic
principles of the composition of organisms as well as their cellular composition.
3.Understands the operating functions of human immune
system and its importance in fighting the infections; describes the infections caused by microbes.
4.Describes the principles of genetics, nature of her
edity and variability, most common chromosome and genetic diseases and possibilities of applying genetics in modern medicine. |
