| To provide knowledge on the role of an assistant pharmacist in primary level health care and about theoretical aspects of measuring primary health markers as well as the practical aspects needed for interpreting the results. |

| Study outcome |
1. Knows the main principles of primary health counseling and patient education.
2. Complies with the requirements of aseptics and antiseptics.
3. Knows how to measure blood sugar, cholesterol, haemoglobin levels and blood pressure and how to document the results.
4. Is capable to give primary recommendations in cases the results differ from the rated value. |
