| The purpose of the course is to introduce the basic aspects of healthy nutrition and healthy eating with the support of various articles, animations, individual exercises and tests. |

Upon completion of the subject, the student:
1. Knows the classification and roles of nutrients.
2. Knows the components of energy expenditure.
3. Considers the principles of functioning of digestive system.
