Curriculum: Nursing education specialisation 2012
AimSpecialized training is designed to provide an internationally recognized quality implementation of infection control in the field of higher education to work.
Conditions for completion of the curriculumThe learning theory in nurse specialist training is 45 ECTS, where 3 ECTS will be awarded from final exam and 9 ECTS from the elective modules. Practical training in work environment is 15 ECTS.
Learning outcomesStudent to complete the curriculum:
1. Has depth knowledge's and skills how to work in clinical nursing field. 2. Knows how to apply their knowledge and clinical skills in nursing care which belong to the area of patient who need special treatment. 3. Knows clinical nurse specialist activities related to medical diagnosis and treatment of a human disease, injury or disability. 4. Can provide nursing care for people of all ages with special needs in alllevels of health care. Infection control in the field study outcomes: 1. Knows the principles of modern teaching and tutoring in infection control in the field. 2. Has in-depth knowledge of infection control. 3. Applies knowledge of infection control in practice. 4. Is able to apply the knowledge and skills in the field of infection control development. AdmissionThe admission of the basic nurse education will require high school certificate, certificate of vocational qualification or an equivalent qualification, certificate of higher nursing or relevant to nursing education.
Graduation conditionsTo pass all the subjects in curriculum with positive marks and successfully defend diploma work or passed final exam on main studies of nursing and specialised nursing training.
