Subject 'Pathological Delivery and Puerperium I'

To acquire knowledge of abnormalities related to pathological delivery and puerperium, and newborn problems and abnormalities accompanying breastfeeding acting in the simulation environement.

1. Evaluates the risk factors affecting delivery process and post-delivery period, pathologies and complications.
2. Performs and demonstrates midwifery care (culture-sensitive) during delivery and/or post-delivery period resulting from a present pathology as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
3. Knows about the stimulating and inducing of delivery, including medicines and pharmacocinetic principles.
4. Recogizes emergency situations in delivery in simulation environement and performs first aid knowing the medicines used, their pharmacokinetics, and performs patient-centred midwifery care.
5. Knows the breastfeeding problems and performs process-based patient counselling.
