To acquire knowledge on the action mechanisms and effects of medicines.
Pharmacology II course follows Pharmacology I. Completing Pharmacology II is a prerequisite of pharmacotherapy studies. |

| Õpiväljundid |

1. Knows the effects, usage, side-effects and contraindications of analgesics, anti-inflammatory medicines, chemotherapeutics and central nervous system medicines.
2. Is capable to consider the interaction of different medicines in their concomitant usage.
3. Is capable to implement mathematical calculations in medicine administration.
4. Is capable to use pharmacological reference books, handbooks and internet sources. |
