Learning outcomesThe graduate:
1.has deepened knowledge and skills for working in health nursing speciality; 2.has contemporary evidence based knowledge and skills about health nursing, and by applying this knowledge helps the enhancing of health indicators of Estonian population; 3.has broad range of professional knowledge and skills, applies them in practice by offering health promoting and health supporting nursing care to people of all ages on first level health care; 4.proceeds in one’s activities from the need of promoting the health of an individual, family, community and society, and also from the need of preventing diseases and supporting the coping in life; 5.is able to teach and instruct nursing students, nurses, patients and their close ones, and to solve complex speciality problems; 6.Is able to create and manage multiprofessional health team, and to help other team members by consulting and instructing them; 7.is able to offer independent ambulatory nursing care service in family health centres, health centres, pre-school children institutions, schools, institutions offering occupational health care services etc, and cooperates with family doctor and other health care team members by acting as a link between different institutions and family.
