AimThe objective of the speciality of community health nursing is to provide the future specialist in community health nursing with up-to-date evidence-based knowledge and skills which will help to improve the community health indicators of the population of Estonia.
Learning outcomesUpon completion of the health nursing module, student:
1. Knows the responsibilities and tasks of a specialized health nurse in health care and is able to provide independent patient- and family-centered nursing care according to the needs of patient/client in family nursing, home nursing, school and occupational health care. 2. Is able to determine the need for research and development, analyze and evaluate the possibilities for applying research outcomes and use them for developing health nursing. 3. Is able to lead the process of performing nursing care in a multiprofessional team. 4. Is able to educate and supervise patients/clients, their loved ones, nursing professional and students in fields of health nursing. Diploma or DegreeDiploma of Professional Higher Education
