Objective
1. To provide knowledge about the most important eye
diseases, their symptoms, dangers and treatment
possibilities;
2. to provide knowledge about the influence of eye diseases on
visual acuity and visual perception.

Learning outcomes
Having passed the subject, the student:
1. knows different eye diseases, their etiology and symptoms;
2. is aware about different treatment methods of eye diseases
and can critically evaluate the need for directing the patient
to ophthalmologist’s reception.
