Objectives
To provide the student with an experience of independent work that includes
all that is related with the optometrist occupation: customer service, assembling and fitting spectacles, vision examination, the skills to evaluate special cases and to behave accordingly.

Learning outcomes
Having passed the module, the student:
1. knows and recognizes different methods of checking and correcting visual acuity, and proceeds in one’s recommendations and selections from client’s needs and possibilities;
2. is able to independently interpret the collected information critically and creatively, shows up initiative and responsibility in developmental and team work;
3. is able to analyze in written report as well as in seminar the work process and to give an evaluation about it;
4. connects and values the theory and placement acquired in studies so far with the profession and with all other subjects in study programme.
