Objective
1. To provide an overview about the methodological starting
points of scientific works and methods of research;
2. to introduce the possibilities of information technology and
to teach the skills for processing practical information;
3. to teach the skills of analyzing and associating through
carrying out independent research project.

Learning outcomes
1. Is able to plan and carry out scientific research work, and
analyze the results;
2. is able to analyze and evaluate the published scientific
researches;
3. is able to effectively use office software;
4. is able to use different databases and IT possibilities in
composing written works;
5. possesses general knowledge about information society, IT
appliances, information science and databases;
6. is able to use e-learning possibilities in web-based IVA
environment;
7. is able to compose and present written work.
