Aim

Goal of this course is to create opportunities for students from different knowledge, skills and values ​​to shape adult health behavior.

Study outcome

1.how important is health behaviour in persons life and in achieving wellbeing; also the factors influencing persons health behaviour.
2.different behaviour models in adult health behaviour and most important risk behaviour types.
3.how to educate individuals and families in enhancing their health and well-being.
4.how to recognize and find connections in regards with adult age and gender differences and the consequenting risk behaviour in regards to one’s health.
5.how to inlfuence and educate people to independently analyse and change their health behaviour (e.g. increasing physical activity; changing health damaging habits – smoking, alcohol and drug consumption; risky sexual behaviour).
6.how to analyse the differences of adult health behaviour from the culutral, religious and gender-based aspects in different countires.
