Subject 'Practice - Normal pregnancy'

To reinforce theoretical knowledge, attitudes and skills of managing and observing normal pregnancy in practice.

1. Has a practical training in normal pregnancy instructed by a supervisor
from the college and a mentor from the hospital, integrating theory into practice.
2. Collects and compiles a history of midwifery in different trimesters and documents the data collection.
3. Performs midwifery of normal pregnancy in different trimesters.
4. Interprets and explains the results of investigations and laboratory tests to a woman and her family.
5. Carries out health education on changes in normal pregnancy and problems in different trimesters of pregnancy valuing social and ethical beliefs of a woman and her family/support person.
6. Fulfills the requirements for practical activity of a midwife according to the European Union directives.
