To develop readiness to perform need-based midwifery/nursing activities to an inpatient considering the holistic approach.

1. Has a practical training in nursing procedures instructed by a supervisor from the college and a mentor, integrating theory into practice.
2. Determines patient`s needs and performs midwifery/nursing procedures.
3. Values health and a human being as a whole not depending on his/her age, social and cultural background, sexual beliefs nor familial/individual attitudes.
4. Knows the waste management principles regarding the specificity of the departments.
