To acquire knowledge about the principles of compiling, conducting and presenting midwifery/nursing science related research. To connect terminology in English and to use scientific databases to find and analyse a professional scientific article.

1.Desribes general principles of scientific thinking, requirements of academic language and stages of writing a research paper in the field of midwifery and nursery.
2.Describes the most common methods of compiling, analysing and presenting data.
3.Explains the ethical principles of preventing plagiarism in writing a research paper.
4.Analyses a scientific article in English according to the process of writing a research paper and values the correct use of Estonian language.
