Subject 'Introduction to occupational therapy'Name in Estonian: Sissejuhatus tegevusteraapiasse
Aim1. To design the skills to interpret the profession and understand its role in Estonian health care system in future occupational therapists;
2. To give the students basic knowledge of occupational therapy as a profession, its history, philosophy, ethics and terminology. Study outcomeLearning outcomes:
1. Is familiar with the philosophy, ethics and historical evolution of occupational therapy in both globally and in Estonia; 2. Knows professional terminology, understanding occupation as tool and main object in occupational therapy; 3. Is able to explain the links between occupational ability, health and wellness; 4.
