Aim

To provide an overview about the administration of the most widely used medication groups and medications, their contraindications and side effects paying mainly attention to influence of them on human occupational performance.

Study outcome

Having passed the subject, the student:
1 has knowledge about the effects of medications on an organism and about the factors influencing these effects;
2 has knowledge about the most widely used medication groups, indications and side effects of them;
3 has knowledge about the effects of medications on human occupational performance;
4 is able to associate the acquired knowledge with his/her future speciality.
