Aim

Develop advanced knowledge of nursing care and nursing diagnoses in case of acute neurological, nefrological, heart and cardiovascular ilnesses, respiratory and multiple organ failures and poisoning and skills for resuscitation on advanced level.

Study outcome

1. Knows the main acute heart and vascular and neurological and nefrological system illnesses and metabolic disorders and is able to provide nursing care accordingly.
2. Knows neurotraumas and multiple traumas and is able to provide nursing care accordingly.
3. Is able to finding nursing diagnoses related to intensive nursing, relying on NANDA taxonomy.
4. Is able to find evidence-based patient-centered solutions according to nursing diagnoses.
5. Is able to apply the principles of nursing care to a patient on mechanical ventilation and to intubated and extubated patient.
6. Knows the instruments and equipment necessary for analyses, monitoring and treatment procedures and is able to use them.
7. Is able to perform ECG diagnostics.
8. Is able to interpret results of analyses and monitoring.
