1. Knows the foundations of communication and communication techniques between nurse and patient.
2. Knows the possible barriers in different relationship patterns between nurse and patient.
3. Is able to apply his or her knowledge to a professional nurse-patient relationship according to patient’s needs, age and cultural aspects.
4. Knows and is able to apply techniques of therapeutic communication to working with families and groups.
