To acquire basic knowledge on the technologies of preparing materials used to produce dental prostheses, their composition, structure and advantages as well as disadvantages, mutual suitability and classification of materials used.

1. Uses the professional terminology of the field.
2. Knows the physical and mechanical properties of the materials used in dental technology, methods of their determination.
3. Is familiar with the effect of disinfection agents on different dental technology materials.
