Subject 'Practical Training – Partial Prostheses II'Name in Estonian: Praktika partsiaalproteesid II
AimTo reinforce the knowledge and skills in constructing esthetic and functional partial prostheses and orthodontic appliances in clinical cases.
Study outcome1. Knows and recognizes the requirements for a framework of a partial prosthesis (measures, location, esthetics, functionality, hygiene, etc).
2. Knows and recognizes the requirements for orthodontic appliances (measures, location and effect of clasps and springs). 3. Continues to evaluate the work process and prepared work, analyses the technological, intruction-related and organizational reasons to succesful and unsuccesful works. 4. In the practical training report, is able to compare the reasons behind the choices of dental restorations, work regulations, technologies and resoures used.
