Aim

To acquire knowledge on the materials and technologies in preparing the materials to produce dental prostheses, their consistence, structure, advantages, classification, disadvantages and mutual suitability.

1. Is familiar with the duplication materials, insertion masses, metals and their alloys and their handling principles.
2. Knows the concept of electrolytes and acids.
3. Acquires knowledge of strength of materials.
