1. To acquire understanding about low vision and the possibilities for correcting low vision.
2. To acquire knowledge about the different optical and non-optical instruments meant for people with low vision.

1. Is able to evaluate the level of low vision.
2. Is able to fit and recommend the optical and non-optical instruments for low vision.
3. Can evaluate the work and environmental conditions related with low vision, and to give recommendations for improving the situation.
