Subject 'Surgical Patient Nursing'

To acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes in providing nursing care to patients with ear-nose-throat (LOR) and eye diseases.

1. Knows the classification of surgical, infectious, eye and LOR diseases and the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, investigation methods as well as the treatment and prevention principles.
2. In simulation environment, determines and documents the patient's nursing care needs and nursing problems in case of different diseases.
3. In simulation environment, prepares the patient for different investigations and operations.
4. In roleplays, implements the principles of ethical, teamwork and health education principles.
