Aim

To get an overview about the processes of population change in the world and their impact factors, and to analyse demographic data.

Study outcome

1. Has an overview about demographic trends and their agents, and about the features of various population groups (general traits).
2. Is able to distinguish between different ways of collecting demographic data and to assess their strengths and weaknesses.
3. Is able to use the population data sources and analyse the population processes and interprets the demographic indicators.
