Aim

To acquire basic knowledge about epidemiology and biostatistics.

Study outcome

1. Knows the main terminology used in epidemiology, the types of epidemiological studies and knows the policy of planning thereof.
2. Knows the biostatistical data collecting principles and the bases of statistical data analysis.
3. Is able to analyse the published epidemiological studies and calculate and interpret the indicators.
