Aim

To get an overview about the fields of activities of environmental health, including about its influence on health.

Study outcome

1. Understands the influence of environmental risk factors on public health, and knows the health problems caused by these factors.
2. Knows major problems of living environment in Estonia, terminology used in environmental protection, population dynamics and the factors influencing it, and biological basis of nature protection.
3. Assesses the influence of environmental factors on human health and values environmentally sound behaviour.
