To get an overview about the principles of formation of health policy and the basics of health management and about different methods of analysis of health effects of policy decisions.

1. Understands the principles of (incl. public health) health policymaking and the role of different sectors of health policy.
2. Explains the principles of the basics of health management and ways for implementing them in public health promotion.
3. Has the knowledge of the ways to influence political processes, and the analysis of health effects of policy decisions.
