Aim

1. To acquire knowledge about basic terminology in clinical psychology, about psychological explanations of mental disorders and behavioural disorders, and about various types of psychotherapy.
2. To acquire knowledge about neuropsychological processes that have an influence on human occupational performance.

Study outcome

1. Has an overview about psychological explanations of mental disorders and behavioural disorders, and about their research methods.
2. Knows and is able to describe most common mental disorders and behavioural disorders, and can relate the knowledge to future professional activities.
3. Has knowledge about basic terminology in neuropsychology, about main topics, and research methods.
4. Knows and is able to describe the nature of most common neuropsychological disorders, and can relate the knowledge to occupational therapy.
