Aim

To acquire knowledge and skills to conduct the process of occupational therapy for working with children and the youth.

Study outcome

1. Is able to assess the need for occupational therapy, and assess the family´s and child´s preparedness for changes.
2. Is able to set family-centred occupational therapy goals, adapt environments, choose assistive devices and therapeutic activities and to evaluate the results.
3. Is able to document the occupational therapy process when working with children and the youth.
4. Is able to cooperate with the family of the child or the youngster.
