Aim

To acquire knowledge about occupational therapy in improving the life-quality of elderly people, and skills for carrying out occupational therapy with them.

Study outcome

1. Knows the occupational performance issues that accompany ageing.
2. Is able to evaluate the occupational performance of an elderly person.
3. Knows how to apply occupational therapy intervention for the elderly in domestic environment as well as in institutions.
4. Knows the principles of palliative care and end of life care.
