Subject 'Master's Degree Examination'Name in Estonian: Magistrieksam
AimTo allow to demonstrate professional knowledge and written and oral analysing skills acquired during studies.
Study outcomeIs able to critically analyse research papers and evaluate:
- formulating and reasoning the research problem - correspondence of the aim and research questions / tasks with addressing the topic in the research paper; - addressing research information and writing research text as theoretical and methodological starting points of the research paper; - choice and implementation of research methodology; - presentation of research results; - correspondence of discussion and conclusions with addressing the topic in the research paper. Is able to present professional problems in a well-argued manner and plan: - development project in the field of health and well-being; - project team and to manage it; - project budget and timetable. Is able to develop new practical approach based on integrating theoretical and methodological scientific information and practical information gained by experience in their development project plan. Is able to assess development project´s: - implementation influence on healthcare service or development of their profession or specialty; - sustainability of the results and continuous influence on development of health and well-being. Uses research and professional terminology and data in examination paper and in a discussion with examination committee, and transfers necessary knowledge for developing health and well-being.
