Subject 'Health Factors'

To provide basic knowledge about the most important health factors of various levels and the influence of various combinations thereof on health and quality of life, and skills to analyse and assess critically the contents of main health factor models.

1. Is able to explain the influence of social, cultural, political, economic, demographic, behavioural, biological and environmental determinants on health and quality of life.
2. Is able to compare causal links of health factors.
3. Is able to analyse the contents of main health factor models.
4. Distinguishes effective and ineffective interventions to influence health determinants at different levels.
