Aim

To give students the basic knowledge of the structure of inorganic compounds, their physical and chemical properties and their mutual relationships.

Study outcome

1. Knows the basic concepts of inorganic chemistry and the substance classes.
2. Is capable to explain the nature of the process of hydrolysis.
3. Has basic knowledge of redox processes.
4. Has basic knowledge of the most important compounds of metals and non-metals.
