1. To introduce the students the characteristics of pets and farm animals.
2. To provide students with skills to reasonably advise pet owners within the competences of an assistant pharmacist.
3. To teach students how to dispense prescription medicines for animals and orientate in the legislation concerning animals.

1. Has the knowledge to understand the differences of human beings and animals when administering medicines and determining the medicine dosages.
2. Is capable to give reasonable advice to the owners of the animals concerning medicines as well as other products, but also on their animals' behavior.
