Aim

To provide knowledge on pharmacotherapy: different medicine groups, their effect on organism and usage in treatment of diseases. Also possesses knowledge on medicine pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, side-effects and interactions.

Study outcome

1. Knows the effect of main toxins on organism, the signs and treatment principles of main toxins, knows the antidotes and can give first aid in case of intoxications.
2. Is capable to present his or her knowledge in a well-argued manner.
