To reinforce the integration of professional knowledge and skills and create readiness for working as an employer and employee.

1. Evaluates different career possibilities as a midwife or a nurse in Estonia.
2. Implements teaching- and management-related knowledge in different events connected to midwifery.
3. Implements the principles of teamwork in his/her professional work on an individual and community level cooperating with health care professionals of different fields.
4. Analyses the organization of health care and social system, offering solutions to problems in the modern society.
