Objective
To provide basic knowledge and skills for lifelong professional development of the students.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the subject, the student:
1. Has an overview of the operation and the curriculum of Tallinn Health Care College;
2. Is familiar with the Estonian and international higher education system;
3. Has knowledge of the basic concepts and the major treatises of developmental psychology;
4. Is aware of his or her personal abilities and is able to critically analyze them;
5. Knows the psychological features of human life span;
6. Is able to use modern professional literature and databases and is able to manage and plan individual work based on the subject.
