Subject 'Vision rehabilitation'

Objective
1. To provide the student with understanding about defective
vision and the possibilities for correcting defective vision;
2. to introduce the different optic and non-optic instruments
meant for persons with defective vision;
3. to explain the essence of anisometropia and aniseiconia, and problems related with them.

Learning outcomes
Having passed the subject, the student:
1. is able to evaluate the level of defective vision;
2. is able to fit and recommend the optic and non-optic
instruments for defective vision;
3. can evaluate the work and environmental conditions related
with defective vision, and to give recommendations for
changing the situation.
