Objective
To provide knowledge about:
1. the basic principles of population health, and the
organization of work related with population health;
2. the theoretical basics of promoting population health and
disease prevention.

Learning outcomes
Having passed the subject, the student:
1. knows the theoretical basics of health and health promotion;
2. possesses knowledge about the health condition of Estonian
population;
3. approaches to problems from the point of environmental
friendly conception, and knows the basics of globalization;
4. is able to consult clients.
